is the beginning of everything. That's what I heard today when I went to Elder Chad Claytons farewell. What a nice thought. LOVE; is the beginning of everything. I agree. Love IS the beginning. And, it should be the end. If we do things well, the way they were intended to be... then love will be the end, the beginning, and all the stuff in between. I'm figuring out, that its the most important thing we can gain. Faith, knowledge, joy.. all very very important. But if I could pick something to dedicate my life too.. it would be love. "Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail."
Done through love, everything will be exactly as it should be.
I never think its hard to love. I really don't. People say it, but they are only deceiving themselves. Your natural instinct is to love. Not to hate. When you begin to hate, you loose a battle with yourself. If you love, you triumph over everything that tries to pull you down.
This reminds me of the song, "love is a battlefield." In the song, i think she means it as " love sucks, because you can get hurt. blah blah." but I like thinking of this phrase another way. Love is a battle field because everything that is evil, will do EVERYTHING it can to stop your love. To bruise your unconscious desires. To make you think that love is hard, not worth it. And the most grueling tactic... that some one must PROVE they are worth your love. What a bunch of bull though.
EVERYONE deserves to be loved. Deserves to be believed in. Over and over and over again. and, everyone you meet, NEEDS your love. That's why they are all there. Why WE are all here.
To love, and be loved in return.
