In my parents house, for as long as I can remember there has been a board that reads,
Speak kind words, receive kind echoes.
I have always loved that quote, and think about it often.
But more then kind words should be spoken, words of wisdom, passion, humility, and joy should also fill the air around us.
I have also always loved the quote,
"tis better to remain silent than to be thought of as a fool."
Keep your personal personifications wise, you can never get back what has already been said.
The phrases "just kidding" and "I didn't mean that" have long since been discovered as frauds.
SPEAK kind words, RECIEVE kind echoes.
