THANKFUL THURSDAY!

I am thankful that my mom is excited to read what i write down today :)

i am thankful for nature. today i stood on a dock, and watched a million and one rain drops make ripples in the lake water. it was so beautiful. :)

I am thankful for the song  "I feel my saviours love". It has such great lyrics. But my favourite part is when it says, "He knows I will follow him.." I'm glad He knows that. Because that means he looks past my human fralties, even when I can't. :)

I am thankful for the strength of my friends. I have so many friends that have been thrown into MANY crapy situations, and they ALWAYS come out on top. They are such great examples to me, and such great strengths. I love them all. :)

I am thankful for Elder Holland. That man is a genuis with words. and I really recommend his book, "Broken things to mend" Its icredible.

I am thankful that my mom put some more money into my account so that I could get a new tooth brush and some deoderant.. now maybe my roommates won't avoid me so much.. ;)

I am thankful for the commandment "be of good cheer". How cool is that? ( matthew 14; 27; Mark 6:50; and John 16; 33)

I am thankful for love. when you have it, it does something to your whole life. It allows you to begin living in the world God really created for you. One that is filled with endless beauty, happiness, and peace! :D

I am thankful for Nikita and Sergey. When we are in class and "hard at work" ;) You can always find us singing christmas songs or talking about hamburgers. How much better could it get? ;)

and last but most definitally not least!..

I am thankful for faith. for faith, and hope, and dreams. "God expects you to have enough faith and determination and enough trust in Him to keep moving forward, keep living, keep rejoicing. In fact, He expects you not to simply face the future (that sounds pretty grim and stoic); but  He expects you to embrace and shape the future-to love it and rejoice in it and delight in your opportunities."

Faith is everything. :)

( heheheh, i love this photo, and couldn't help but add it. :D )
